Here we have created 2 more teaser mag ads, and have created a final ad with one member. We created a second kitten teaser ad, with a different image and we also layered the kitten onto a bed of rose petals, to link the ad to the video and digipak. We got feedback from the first ad saying that it worked well, so we thought we should try another image and see if it gave the same effect.
The third teaser mag ad features an image of Poppy, however we have applied Barthes' theory of narrative engima here, so as to intrigue the audience and make them scan the QR code to see what the advertisement is actually advertising.
We plan to create a final ad like this but for each member, and then another with all 3 of us, so that there is visual range for the magazine reader. It is common for some acts to use more than one spread in the same magazine, to enhance the advertisement and make readers even more aware of the new product.
